Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1

    HANOI - ARRIVAL

    Upon arrival at International airport in Hanoi, our tour guide will welcome you and transferred to your hotel in the city for check-in.

    In the afternoon, explore the charming city of Hanoi, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the East’, and famed for it its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and scenic lakes. Visit One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city and the Tran Quoc pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, located on a small island of West Lake, while passing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, and his house on stilts.

    Then continue to visit the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam. In the late afternoon, visit Hanoi Train Street, stop at railway coffee shop for a delicious Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, egg coffee or green tea (drinks at your own expenses) while observing the world go by, taking in the sights and sounds of a real Ha Noi. Then, take a short walking tour in Old Quarter to visit night market, food streets and enjoy live music performances on street.

  • Day 2

    HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI

    Today, depart Ha Noi for a 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh province, home to amazing karst mountains, misty caves, and historical relics. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu to get an overview of the first three centralized feudal states of Vietnam. While the ancient citadel has probably disappeared, the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties still remain surrounded by rice paddies and mountains. Continue your journey to Bich Dong which was conferred by a King as the “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”.

    This afternoon, a local skilled rower will take you on a magnificent waterway lined with rice paddies to discover Tam Coc, known as “Ha Long Bay on Land. Disembark the boat and enjoy a follow a village trail to reach Thai Vi temple. Return to Ha Noi late afternoon.

  • Day 3

    HANOI – HA LONG BAY- OVERNIGHT ON BOARD

    After breakfast today, you will take a 3.5 hours drive to Halong Bay, a World wonder of nature. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise in Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets with different shapes. Again, your dinner will be served on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional) and later overnight on board.

    Remark:

    - Cruise itinerary is subject to change depends on the weather condition. The cruise provides English speaking staffs, so our guide will stay on land during your cruise trip.

  • Day 4

    HA LONG BAY – HA NOI – DA NANG

    In the morning, our brunch will be served while doing further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the wharf. The junk continues cruising toward Ha Long port for disembarking.

    Upon disembarkation, our driver is ready to transfer us toward to the airport to catch a flight to Da Nang.

    Overnight stay in Da Nang.

  • Day 5

    DA NANG – BANA HILL & GOLDEN BRIDGE

    After breakfast, our guide and driver will transfer you to Sun World Bana Hills Danang. Take a cable car from the foot of the hills to visit the Golden Bridge, an amazing structure - a footbridge that looks like being lifted by two massive “hands of the gods”, was opened in June 2018 at the Bà Nà Hills Resort as part of their Thien Thai Garden attraction. You can visit not only the beautiful and famous bridge but also have a chance to enjoy many activities in Fantasy park, Wine Cellar, Flower Garden, etc.

    Overnight stay in Da Nang.

  • Day 6

    DA NANG - HOI AN WALKING TOUR AND SUNSET CRUISE

    Start the day with the visit to Cham Museum, where housed the finest collection of Cham sculptures. Last visit is to the Marble Mountains with mysterious cave pagodas and a stone carving village at the foot of the mountain.

    In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town, which is recognized for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets, and typical local cuisine. During this leisurely exploration on foot, observe some of the historic merchant and community houses, ancient pagodas, and traditional places of worship with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture. Make a stop at the iconic over 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge first built by the Japanese community in 1590s as a way to reach the Chinese quarter across the water. Visit the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation notice its gorgeous woodcarvings on the beams, walls, and altar while unraveling with your guide some untold stories about the Chinese community during their time in Hoi An. Continue strolling around Hoi An’s back street and feel soft, clattering hum which is the sound of sewing machines. This little charming town is also home to hundreds of tailor shops and nobody can explain exactly when, how, or why it became sewing central. Visit a tailor shop where you can get some express made-to-order clothes.

    Wind your way to the local pier and board a local boat for a one-hour boat trip on the Thu Bon River for close views of the fishing boats, country villages along the river before returning to your hotel.

  • Day 7

    DA NANG FLY TO HO CHI MINH

    Free time in the morning for beach relax.

    Then check out and transfer to Domestic airport to board a flight for Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, our guide will pick you up to visit the Hindu Temple of Mariamman, China town and Jade Emperor Temple.

    Explore on your own by Walking or You can choose to Hop on Hop Bus Tour (Open Deck) Dong Khoi street, or Rue Catinat as it was known in the time of the French occupation, take a walking tour to admire Saigon’s historic landmarks and to discover some of the beautiful French colonial buildings built in the late 19th and early 20th century. Appreciate the splendidly restored exteriors of the Opera House (Photo Stop) and the former Hotel de Ville which are still two of the finest buildings in Saigon. Wander up to the Notre Dame Cathedral (Photo Stop), a red brick edifice with twin spires based on the original construction from Paris. (It is only possible for a fast visit outside due to under renovation). Then head across the square to the Central Post Office, designed by the French architect, Gustav Eiffel, before he had risen to fame for the Eiffel Tower. Finally, the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war, is a short drive away and reveals the history of Saigon during its turbulent recent past. The last stop is Ben Thanh market.

  • Day 8

    HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS - DEPARTURE

    After breakfast, Enjoy a two-hour drive northwest of Saigon, through urbanized areas and typical lush southern Vietnamese countryside, to the famous Cu Chi tunnels. The tunnel complex was initially started in 1948 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as communication routes, storage facilities for food and weapon caches as well as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. A visit to the underground villages will provide a better understanding of the tunnels’ history, the hardship of life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese resilience during combat. Return to Saigon for lunch. Then spend time for shopping until transfer to airport for your departure flight.

The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has cancelled their tour:
  • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge
  • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost 
  • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
  • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost
  • No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost

B. CHILDREN POLICY (land service only)
  • Child from 1- 4 yrs:  Free of charge if sharing bed with parents 
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
