Dear Xuan Hao,

We are back at home now and would like to thank you for arranging our tour in Myanmar, which gave us a chance to get to know so much about this beautiful and fascinating country and its friendly people.

We have written a few lines (maybe too much) to give you some feedback on our tour. Please see as below:

1) Hotels

- Savoy Hotel/Yangon: Excellent in every respect, good location

- Tai House Resort/Hsipaw : very nice hotel, very personal service ; good location ; excellent considering it is a 3*-hotel

- Aureum Palace Hotel/Pyin Oo Lwin : ok ; nice and spacious rooms ; service and restaurant : average

- Red Canal Hotel/Mandalay : small rooms, but very nice hotel with excellent staff; restaurant only average

- Tharabar Gate Hotel/Bagan: large but bland rooms, good hotel, restaurant: good, friendly staff

- Kalaw Hill Lodge: Excellent in every respect; great hotel

- Pristine Lotus Resort: nice hotel, great rooms, good food

- Aye Thar Yar Golf Resort/Ayetharyar: very nice rooms, poor service, poor breakfast

- Amata Beach Resort/Ngapali: nicely landscaped grounds, very nice rooms (cabanas), restaurant ok, service and staff in general: not good, lackluster

- Mountain Top Hotel/Kyaiktiyo: ok, friendly staff, good location

2) Cars + drivers

All cars were in acceptable condition, all drivers were good, reliable, careful and friendly

3) Guides

- Ye/Yangon: good, helpful, friendly and knowledgable with good English

- Joseph/Lashio to Mandalay: great guide, creative, very helpful, always there for us, good English

- Guide in Bagan: did his job, not overly interested in us and our wishes, English ok, but not always easy to understand. Not a bad guide, but not very good either

- Aron/Heho, Kalaw, Inle, Taunggyi: great guide, creative with many good ideas, lots of knowledge about area, people etc., very helpful, very good English

- Sheila/Yangon: great guide in every respect – like Joseph and Aron, very good English

4) Organisation of tour

The tour was exactly what we had hoped it to be and more. Everything went smoothly. There were absolutely no problems from the first to the last minute. The places we saw, the people we met, the sights we visited – everything was arranged in a way that ensured this to be a memorable trip. Flights, train rides, etc. went without a hitch. Oriental Ballooning in Bagan: highly recommended. (Among many others, the Taunggyi Balloon Festival was definitely a highlight we wouldn’t have seen without your suggestions.)

5) Vietnamstay Travel

You did an excellent job and we thank you very much for everything you did. You catered to all our wishes and interests, you made good and helpful suggestions and you ensured that this turned out to be a memorable tour.

This was our third tour arranged by you and we will certainly come back to you if we come to Southeast Asia again.

Dear Xuan Hao,

We had an incredible trip! So much so that we are struggling to find any negative aspects from our experience. The one thing we told ourselves is that we would have loved to have had more time in each location, however, with our time constraints that made it difficult. With the days available, in retrospect, we should have focused on fewer destinations but we would not have known how to make that happen. Each of our drivers, and our guides were extremely professional, kind, and friendly. All of our guides were highly knowledgable as well. We did find that the guides we liked the best were guides that were willing to chat with us about more than just what we were seeing but also about themselves and their experiences. For example, our guide in Cambodia, was excellent, she was by far our favorite. She shared information about where she grew up, and about her own family travels around Cambodia. She did an incredible job giving us information about what we were touring as well as about life in Cambodia in general. I will say that with a bespoke private guided trip like ours, US travelers will always enjoy that kind of personal interaction.

We greatly appreciated everyone that we came into contact with from Vietnamstay and I plan to recommend traveling with Vietnamstay to anyone I speak with that wants to visit your beautiful country. Emily and I are already dreaming of a return trip!

We are back home, after a long flight and happy to be with our famillies.
The trip was wonderful - even more than we believed.

We don't stop talking about your reliable service and the contribution it made to our trip. You can immagion the doubts taking an agent we didn't work with before...
But now we know that we'll tell everyone about you and we are sure that you'll see our friends asking for your help! I can help also by writing in special sites here, where people use for information befor their trips.

The whole group is sutisfy. The plan was good, not always the weather...  The cable to Fanispan...and the cold days in Sapa.But the guide was so authentic!

Did you know that the flight to Bkk was transfer to Laosair? We didn't , and it took time to understand it. The people working at the airport didn't know till we found someone and insist to get an answer. I expect your office/guide to know about it. Please check it.

Hi Pham,

We would like to thank you and VietnamStay for the excellent service you delivered during our tour of Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia

Every thing went better than expected and we were extremely happy with the tour

All of the pick-ups were on time and the hotels were all excellent.  The drivers were friendly and helpful and the cars were clean and in good condition

There was always plenty of cold water and hand wipes waiting for us in the car

The guides were without exception very knowledgeable with good English and nothing was too much trouble for them when we asked for some small changes to the plans.

The variety of tours that you arranged for us was exceptional, we enjoyed them all especially Luang Prabang, 

Hanoi - Village Bicycle Ride at Dong Ngac, Street food

Sapa was beautiful (the overnight train was an experience not to be missed)

Ha Long Bay cruise with the very entertaining Cruise Manager Jackie who taught us Tai Chi on the deck at 6am

Hoian was brilliant and we enjoyed making lanterns, 

Cu Chi Tunnels and the War Museum were an eye opener and we learned much from the guide about the history of the war

The Mekong Delta region was a great day with many means of transport, car, boat, horse drawn cart and rowing boat all immensely enjoyable

We finished our tour in Cambodia with the incredible Angkor Wat – what a fabulous amazing place!

At our request on the last day we visited a newly opened exhibition centre to highlight the work of the Apopo Hero Rats who work in Cambodia

To find and safely dispose of unexploded land mines left over after the war they are amazing and the new centre is incredible.

Once again thank you to you and all at VietnamStay for the incredible experience we had on our tour we will certainly recommend your company to all our family and friends

Dear Xuan,

We arrived safely and well home and I restarted my work, although it is not easy.

I wish to thank you on behalf of all 4 of us for your perfect preparation of our trip. Everything went very smoothly and without any trouble. I stress: not even one problem occured what is almost surprising in case of such logistically „complicated“ travel plan.

All three guides were very kind to us and helpfull. They have good knowledge of english and took care of us.

I really have to think about how you could improve your service because from my point of view everything was just perfect.

I can assure you that whenever I will hear from somebody about intention visitng Vietnam I will heartly recommend to use service of Vietnamstay Tours.
