Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1

  (Saturday): Lao Cai – Can Cau Market (B/L)

  Arrive at Lao Cai railways station at about 6.30AM. Welcomed by a local guide and have breakfast in local restaurant. Then process to Can Cau Market via Bac Ha town. The road is good but having many sharp bend with a long descends and a long ascend which takes about 2 hours.

  Arrive to the market place at about 10.00 am. Time to join the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the festive market activities where peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Saturday for shopping and socializing. The right location of the market place also offers photo-hunters ideal opportunity for taking photos, not only of peoples in colorful traditional costumes but also breathtaking landscapes of the perfect surrounding.

  Have lunch box and then drive to Ta Van Chu Village of Flower H’mong people. Then take 12km trek to Bac Ha.

• Day 2

  (Sunday): Bac Ha market – Sapa (B/L)

  After breakfast, visit the famous Bac Ha Sunday Market – the Northwest’s largest hill tribe market which attracts a large number of ethnic minorities from the mountains around. Dip yourself into the happy atmosphere of the market, which is very simple but really meaningful to the local people.

  Lunch at a local restaurant in Bac Ha, then drive to Sapa. Check in at your hotel.

   
  Overnight in Sapa
• Day 3

  Sapa – Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai village – Lao Cai (B/L)

  Breakfast at hotel and check out at around 9.00-10.00AM.

  Drive to Lao Chai Village of Black H’mong people. Take a light trek through Muong Hoa Valley with beautiful scenery to Ta Van Village of Dzay ethnic people. Continue another medium trek to Giang Ta Chai Village of Red Dzao people. Stop at Cau May for a picnic lunch.

  Car pick-up and transfer you to Sapa for a short rest before moving to Lao Cai. Take the overnight train back to Hanoi.

• No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost

• Child from 1- 4 yrs:  Free of charge if sharing bed with parents 
• Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
• Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
• Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
• Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
