We start our explore by following the most well-known streets in the heart of the Old Quarter, then go through dark & tiny alleys having width fit one medium Vietnamese only. Curious, excited and want to know why local residents keep living as this? By stopping at a family has been living in the Old Quarter over 50 years and having interesting chat about their daily routine, you will learn more about local tradition, culture and lifestyle as well.
Continue to Dong Xuan market, the biggest whole-sale market in the Old Quarter where you could find all the amazing and cheap buys ranging from exotic herbs, fresh fruits and veggies, sweet scented flowers to wooden crafts and decor. En-route is 2 stops for sampling the typical local drink and dish.
The walk ends at O Quan Chuong Gate, the only gate of 5 gates surrounding the Thang Long citadel, survives as a proper "square gate”. We then transfer you back to your hotel.
