The day starts with visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the Nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (visit from outside only), and his house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. Next, we visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which successfully presents the recognition of Vietnam as a multi-ethnic country and promotes socio-cultural diversity. 

In the afternoon, visit to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century. Then stroll through Old Quarter on foot, past the old east O Quan Chuong gate to Thanh Ha wet market. Along the way delicacies, strange food items and an explanation of Vietnamese food practices will be given. Continue through the streets of the Old Quarter to sample some local treats. Your guide will explain the routine of Vietnam meal times and indigenous/unusual ingredients eaten. Stroll up ‘food alley’ to see other dishes on offer.

Then enjoying delicious coffee while watching the old train slowly rolls barely a meter away is a terrifying but enjoyable experience for many foreign visitors to Hanoi….

Depart at 08:30AM from your hotel in Hanoi. After 2hrs drive we arrive in Ninh Binh Province. Our first visit is the former capital Hoa Lu where remaining Dinh and Le Kings’ temples.

Proceed to Tam Coc. Getting on small rowing boats to travel along the canals amid local villages, green fields and natural beauty with limestone peaks, we are enjoying the “Ha Long On Land”. After 02 hours through 03 caves, we row back to the boat quay. Have lunch by yourselves.

Then we will ride a bike to Bich Dong cave (2.5km), which was conferred by a King the title “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto” and which is some 2 km from Tam Coc. Climb up the Truong Yen Mountain (Buddha’s palm), charmed by the marvelous scenery offered by the mountains, rivers and pagodas…

After breakfast today, you will take a 03 hours-drive to Halong Bay by private car (local guide on boat)

11:45 - 12:00 Guests onboard - enjoy welcome drink, listen cruise briefing and safety instructions. 

13:15-14:00 Passengers enjoy the International Buffet Lunch. Massage service is available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager. 

14:45-16:30 The crew take passengers visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is doing kayaking or bamboo sampan drive by local people through the tunnel so you will spend mostly your time relaxing and enjoy the quiet and natural place (This is the UNESCO Heritage site and also the nature reserve area of Cat Ba National Park)

17:30 Depart and sail to anchor overnight. 

18:30-19:00 Attend the Cooking Demostration led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese foods. 

19:30 Set Menu Dinner is served. 

20:45 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available, as well as massage service (massage service is available throughout the cruise). Also, everyone can try their luck at Squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew.

06:30 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room. 

06:45 Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. 

07:15-08:45 Cruise crew takes guests visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island. 

09:00 Guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins. 

09:30 Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the dining room, consisting of both Vietnamese and international dishes. Bills are settled after breakfast. We approach the harbor while we cruise, giving you the opportunity to soak up the last of the magical atmosphere of Lan Ha from the sundeck. 

11:15 Arrive at Tuan Chau Port. Transfer back to Hanoi by a private car.

Have free time for walking, shopping, spa or dinner by yourselves (no room at hotel at this time).

Our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Hanoi station for night train to Lao Cai.

Stay overnight on your FANXIPAN EXPRESS TRAIN (sharing 04 berth cabin, optional for private cabin on the train)

On arrival at Lao Cai Station (around 6.30AM), picked up by tour guide & driver and transfer to Sapa. Breakfast by yourselves at a local restaurant, then begin the day with a 3km trek through breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho, home to Hmong minority. From here you can enjoy views over endless rice terraces, and you will have the opportunity to see some of the animals used by the locals.

Continuing on to Ma Tra village, you will come across the impressive ruins of a church dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. Take a minute to explore this intriguing sight and take some photos.

Trekking to the village of Ta Phin, in which the second largest population ethnic minority in Sa Pa after H’mong people – Red Dzao people count major residence. Red Dzao is easily recognized as the women’s distinctive costume with bright red color. Red Dzao cultivate on larger and flat fields.

Pick up at your hotel at 08.30AM. You will commence your short journey by driving south toward Muong Hoa valley. You will then start your walk by descending into the valley, which is the largest rice paddy terraced among Sapa area. The guide can provide you interesting information about rice. If you visit the valley sometime in between May and October, you will be able to observe and experience how the local do planting and harvesting, one of the most important activities in the daily life.

The walk takes you from Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority to Ta Van village of Giay minority including a visit to the local Catholic Church. After visiting Ta Van the car will return you to Sapa. Have lunch by yourselves.

Take a sharing limousine bus to transfer back to Noi Bai airport for flight to Danang.

The Hoi An Vespa Tour offers an exciting and unique way to explore the charm and history of Hoi An. Drive about 1.30-hour from Hoi An to Ba Na Hill, a scenic mountainous area with panoramic vistas reminiscent. Standing more than 1,400 meters (4,878 feet) above sea level, the temperature of this place is mostly cool year-round. 

Arrive at Ba Na Hills cable car station, ride on a modern system of cable cars and get a bird's-eye view of nature which is strikingly beautiful, while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky among the clouds and wind. Experience the feeling of walking in the clouds when you walk on the Golden Bridge which seems to be supported by a pair of giant hands jutting out of the mountain. Then, enjoy your leisure time on Ba Na Hills for further activities such as European Architecture Villas, in-door game, flower beds and pagodas. Have buffet lunch at Ba Na Hill.

Then transfer back to Danang airport for flight to Saigon. On arrival, meet and transfer from airport to hotel in Saigon with private driver (no tour guide).

Today, transfer to a local jetty and enjoy a special transfer by speedboat to the famous Cu Chi tunnels. Notice the views change, with the waterway journey from the glittering skyscrapers and busy commercial centers to green paddy fields and peaceful rural areas.

Originally dug as a base to organize guerrilla-style actions against the French, the Cu Chi tunnels were expanded during the Indochina War to become an ingenious and incredible underground network to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. There are more than 200 kilometers of subterraneous complexes containing storage rooms, kitchens, hospitals, sleeping quarters, and even schools, once occupied by more than 10,000 people. An exploration of these underground villages will provide a better understanding of how the tunnels were constructed, the hardship of life in the tunnels, and the Vietnamese resilience during combat. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters during the war.

After breakfast, leave behind the hustle and bustle of Saigon to delve into the Mekong Delta, a patchwork of emerald greens and the rice bowl of southern Vietnam. After 2-hour drive, arrive in Ben Tre province crossing Rach Mieu Bridge, hop on a private motorize and we cruise through the waterways and cannel of the Mekong delta to visit fruits orchards and learn about the local cottage industries like brick kiln-making, coconut processing, sleeping mats. Take a motorized cart (tuk tuk) on shady paths, passing by green rice fiends and vegetable plains. Lunch is served in local restaurant.

After lunch, experience a rowing-boat ride along beautiful water palm creek before continuing by the motorized boat back to the pier. Then we will continue to transfer to Can Tho.

Board a sampan at the Can Tho old market at breakfast time while watching the scenery of daily local life on the banks. the Mystic sampan then cruises right into the Cai Rang floating market, in between the traders' boats. Leaving the floating market, the sampan takes you to a visit on shore before returning to Can Tho.
