8:30am depart from your hotel, spend the whole day in Hanoi, the first city of this Vietnam culture tour.
Enjoy the whole day to explore Vietnam’s capital city. We first visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (close on Monday & Friday afternoon), his modest stilt house where he chose to live and work and also the museum dedicated to his memory. We continue visit to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century.
In the afternoon, visit the largest and most interesting Museum of Vietnam Ethnology (close on Monday). Return to city downtown, discover the famed Old Quarter on foot. We walk through the hidden alleys, amaze at the old styled tube houses, and visit the lively local market and lovely peaceful temple Bach Ma. Next, we hop on a traditional bicycle rickshaws move at leisure pace that’s perfect for photos and slow-moving sightseeing. Seat back and relax while your driver weaves through the busy streets, dodging speeding motorbikes and rolling past French colonial houses.

Make an early morning departure from Hanoi and drive 3 hours through the Red River Delta on our way to Halong city.
Upon arrival, the crew will greet us abroad the traditional style junk with a refreshing welcome drink and then the cruise begins! While navigating the way through the emerald waters and limestone islands, lunch is served with delicious fresh seafood (vegetarians are also catered for).
As cruising through the bay, marvel at the amazing karst scenery with different formations. Halong Bay is littered with hidden caves and grottoes and we’ll take some time to explore one of these. For those felling active you then can explore the bay by sea kayak. After the dinner, night fishing is available on the main deck.

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Halong Bay’s landscape. Continue cruising to explore more of the bay and enjoy the brunch breakfast before returning to the Jetty at noon time.
Drive transfer directly to Noi Bai airport for 1-hour flight to Danang city.
Land in Danang airport and make a 40-minute drive to the charming town of Hoi An, the destination which should not be missed in the Vietnam culture tours.

Today is fulfilled with interesting activities. After breakfast, setting off from your hotel, a short vehicle ride will take you to the boat pier for a boating to Cam Kim. We walk a bit to the bike store to have your bike. Jump on your bike and cycle to a traditional boat builder’s yard. Chat with local and learn more about local technical making wooden boat.
Follow your ride, we leisurely pedal into the beautiful rural countryside. Zig-zag ride through peaceful villages, passing rice paddies and farmlands will lead you to explore this sleepy island villages. Stop at local families, interact with them about local life, daily routine as well as their farming, mat weaving, and making rice crackers. Hands-on and have your own interesting experience. Keep riding to the boat pier where your waiting boat will take you back to Hoi An town.
In the afternoon, Take a guided walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. There’re numerous art galleries, souvenirs and tailor shops where you can get some express made-to-order clothes if you like. The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of the lanterns as well as stages of making them. After that you can make a lantern by your own, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir of your time in Hoi An.

The afternoon, you travel to the ancient capital of Hue along one of the most beautiful coastal stretches of Vietnam and over the glorious Hai Van Pass (or the Pass of Ocean Cloud). Make a stop at the small fishing village of Lang Co, often referred to as one of the most beautiful bays in the world, then continue to Hue city.

In the morning, we explore Hue major attractions including the Imperial Citadel where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, and Forbidden Purple City. Continue to the last resting place of the 12th King Khai Dinh, who left behind a magnificent and huge burial idyllically located in Chau Chu Mountain just outside of Hue, home to a mix of eastern and western architecture.
In the afternoon, we will go to local eateries to taste Banh Beo, Banh nam, Banh loc. Then go around to see Hue city before having Nem Lui, Banh Khoai with traditional peanut sauce. After that we have Bun Thit Nuong (Rice noddle with grilled pork and vegie). Continue on to taste Che (sweet soup) with many flavors for you to try.

Take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City – an important economic central in Vietnam. It also has some very imposing colonial architecture which belies in fascinating past. Almost a hundred years of French rule bestowed the Central Post Office, a pearl of colonial architecture designed by Gustave Eiffel.
Begin exploring the sights of the city. Get far off of the tourist track with a unique walking excursion by foot through Ho Chi Minh City's Cho Lon District, or "big market". Sometimes referred to as Saigon's Chinatown district, explore the vivid and distinct charm of this little-explored corner of the city - and learn the local secrets behind one of the world's oldest and largest Chinatowns.
Return to city downtown, visit the War Remnant Museum and take a stroll around the impressive old French-built post office and Notre Dame Cathedral before continuing to the City Hall area, another grand old colonial-era relic. Then leave guests free to explore the famous Dong Khoi area, home to the legendary Continental Hotel, made famous by Graham Greene in the Quiet American, and lots of popular restaurants, bars and boutiques.

After breakfast, leave bustling Saigon behind, head out to un-touched areas not well-known by tourists in Ben Tre. Board the cruise & meander down the Mekong observing local life play out along the river banks. Stop at some local families and see how local traditional methods utilize every bit of the coconut. It is a full day of interesting experiences: boat rowing through winding water-coconut canals, sampling tasty local cakes, tea with honey, and enjoying lunch served with Mekong specialties. Join us, relax, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and have memorable experiences before transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

3. Land Transportation
Our price based on the group arrives at one time (on one flight). In case clients arrive at different flight times, and need different airport transfers, the extra transfer will be charged. We apply the same for the departure date.
4. Travel Insurance
Our price of the tour does not include travel insurance. We highly recommend you purchase health/travel insurance for your trip to Asia.
5. Responsibility
Except in situations beyond human control, VietnamStay will be held responsible for any additional expense resulting from the change caused by us in itinerary, transportation, and accommodation.
However, VietnamStay cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, nor for additional costs incurred due to the situations beyond human control.
The detailed program and schedule of flights are subject to changes by the airline without prior notice and in accordance with the weather conditions and daily operation of flights. Consequently, itinerary concerns might be adjusted. If this occurs, VietnamStay will endeavor to secure alternative arrangements.
6. Vaccine
It is not compulsory to get any vaccine to visit our countries. But we encourage you to have popular vaccines such as Diphtheria, Tetanus, Typhoid, Polio…. You may consult your doctor before traveling.

At least 30% deposit of the total tour cost to be deposited upon commitment of the tour.

In practice, VietnamStay always does the best to minimize the cancellation penalty for our guests but we must abide by the cancellation policy of each service provider.
