HN1-01: CYCLO HANOI CITY TOUR

8.30AM: Car ride to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and His House, One Pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, a visit to Temple of Literature, then a 1-hour trishaw (cyclo) ride to visit the trading area in the Old Quarter. A stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn more about the legend of the Lake and see the temple of Ngoc Son. Next stop is at Thang Long theatre for Water puppet show. Tour ends at about 17:30 pm.

HN1-02: CYCLO AND WATER PUPPET SHOW

Starting at 13.30 at your hotel, we first visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam) and the Museum of Vietnam History. At 15h30 we take a cyclo ride around the trading area in the Old Quarter for one hour. Next stop is at Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple and learn more about the legend of the Lake. Then enjoy Water puppet Show at Thang Long Theatre. Following is a dinner with one of Hanoi’s specialties at Grill Fish Restaurant (Cha ca Hanoi) or enjoy Vietnamese cuisines at a Vietnamese restaurant. Tour ends at about 19.30 pm.

HN1-03: THAY & TAY PHUONG PAGODAS

Our car will pick you up at 8.00am or 1.00pm. We shall enjoy a pleasant drive through countryside villages near Hanoi to visit Thay Pagoda, which presents a beautiful legend about the origin of the water puppet arts. Afterwards we will visit Tay Phuong Pagoda, home to 80 wooden statues of various shape and sizes of Buddist Arhats. Tour ends at your hotel.

 

HN1-04: PERFUME PAGODA TOUR

Depart at 08.00 am for an about 2 hours ride to Perfume Pagoda (80km). Enjoy a 1.30 hours boat trip on Yen stream (Swallow Stream) and visit Trinh Temple before disembarking at Ben Duc (Duc quay). Following is a short trek to Thien Tru Pagoda (the main pagoda). Get up to the mountain peak by electric cable to visit the pagoda inside the Huong Tich Grotto, where people often come to pray for health, luck, ... etc.
We then return to Thien Tru Pagoda area on foot for lunch. After lunch, rowing back to Yen boat quay and we will ride back with a short break at Van Phuc - a Traditional Handicraft Silk Village - for shopping. Arrive in Hanoi at around 17.00.

HN1-05: VIET ANCIENT VILLAGE

Leave your hotel in Hanoi at 08.00am and travel west of Hanoi to Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserved are many hundred-year-old houses. Upon arrival, bike along tiny ancient alleys to visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Continue riding around the village to discover the daily life and farming, practice of Vietnamese peasants along the terrace with a stop in two ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house dates back to 400 years ago.
After lunch, visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, dedicated to two national heroes. Again biking to Mia Pagoda, built in 15th century. Drive back to Hanoi and reach your hotel around 4.30 pm.

HN01-07: QUAN HO BAC NINH - THE WORLD SPIRIT HERITAGE

Our half day tour gives you a joyful experience in exploring Vietnam’s beautiful countryside landscapes and the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in Red River Delta. Starting at your hotel at either 8.30AM or 1.30 PM. We take a pleasant drive to Bac Ninh province, 30km from Hanoi center. Upon arrival in Dinh Bang, take a walk through country lanes to visit Dinh Bang Communal house & Do Temple which worships 8 kings of Ly Dynasty (1010-1225). After that you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk songs (duo of love songs) performed by local singers. Quan ho singing is a Vietnamese folk music style with alternating groups of female and male singers issuing musical challenges and responses in the repertoire deal with topics of love and sentimentality. It’s recognized as the Intangible Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO in 2009. Back to Hanoi and ends the tour within 4 hours.

NO1-02: HOA LU - TAM COC - BICH DONG 1 DAY TOUR

NO1-04: MUONG ETHNIC CULTURE IN HOA BINH

08:00am: Start from your hotel, after two hour drive, we will reach Hoa Binh city. Welcome by the villagers at Mo Village, Binh Thanh commune. Brief introduce about this typical Muong Village, then walk in the village, visit some families, interacting and talking with the villagers to understand more about their life and customs.
Then take one hour and a half boat trip (optional - only when water level permitted) on the Da Rive Lake for more sightseeing. Back to the village for lunch, and enjoy Muong folk song performance, drink wine in jar through bamboo tube.
