Afterward, start a city tour to The capital city of Phnom Penh, considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history, it still maintains considerable charm, Royal Palace are now home to the royal family and are therefore very close to the public. At the northern area of the palace grounds is Silver Pagoda, the most sacred temple in the country.
Then continue to Toul Sleng, high school prior to 1975, an interrogation prison known as S-21 during the Khmer Rouge era and today it as a genocide museum. It tells the sad story of the thousands of innocent Cambodian people who were tortured on its grounds. Walking through the narrow corridors and former classrooms of the buildings will give you an eerie feeling of being part of Cambodia’s turbulent past.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.
After breakfast, enjoy a drive to Kratie province. You will stop to make a visit to Wat Nokor along the way, in Kampong Cham Province, before heading for Kratie.
Upon arrival, check in your hotel. Later afternoon, visit the Dolphin Habitat in Kampy Village, 15 kilometers from Katie province, a spectacular wildlife and nature reserve of Kratie. This is one of the highlights for your Cambodia holidays. The amazing spectacle of the playful dolphins splashing in water is indeed a feast for the eyes (Dolphins watching time best for August – March). The Kratie Dolphin Habitat is considered one of the notable tourist attractions in this province.
Return to town and overnight.
After breakfast, start the morning to explore Koh Trong, the Community-based Ecotourism Site, established in 2008, a gorgeous quiet island opposite the riverfront of Kratie Town. It is a short ferry ride between town life and a slice of Cambodia's rural ways.
Upon arrival, you can opt to take a horse cart, bike or motorbike taxi exploring this beautiful and peaceful island with a 7-kilometre loop. Villagers are shy, but humble and honest, plenty of children and adults will offer friendly smiles and "hello" welcoming tourists to their island home. Visitors come across traditional villages, fruit orchards and rice fields. If you wish, The 'Reforestation Project' gives you the chance to plant a tree in your name and help to enrich the flora of the island.
Return to Kratie town for lunch before driving overland to the Province of Mondulkiri.

Note: Elephant trekking takes approximately 1.30 hours and trekking by foot also takes 1.30 hours.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Putang village, where you start the journey of trekking and an elephant ride through the jungles and rivers. It offers you a great experience and fun of exploring the wild region, which adds more exciting for your Cambodia holidays.
Picnic lunch is served nearby the falls. Afterward, you will continue your journey until the village of Phnong, Ethnic village in which the indigenous people settle. It will offer you an opportunity to interact with them to understand theirs ways of living, trading and socializing.
Later afternoon, return to Sen Monorom. Overnight in Mondulkiri.
Today after breakfast, enjoy the falls of Bousra which is very popular for the locals and an overland drive through Cambodia countryside to Banlung, the district of Ratanakiri. You will enjoy the scenery along the way. Upon arrival, check in your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit different ethnic groups in their villages, there are still small villages, some with single houses curiously mounted on bamboo poles several meters in hight. These ethnic groups are very poor and live in an ancestral way, village leader directs the life of the village.
Overnight in Ratanakiri.
Make an early visit to Banlung market, a particular market which starts every morning very early, different ethnicities (Kroeung, Tompuon, Jarai), to sell or exchange their products, vegetables, gathering in forest, game, etc.. These ethnic groups are very recognizable with a small round wicker basket that women wear on their backs or in front of them for the market Afterward, explore the surrounding waterfalls at Teuk Cha Ong, Okachang and Ka Tieng. Take an elephant ride to enjoy the view of the hill.
Afternoon, you will spend your time visiting to the volcanic lake, Yak Lom in a superb location surrounded by pristine rainforest. Swim or take a stroll around the lake if you wish. In the main street of Banlung you can watch the working of semi-precious stones Zircon extracted in quantity from remote mines in the deep district. Ratanakiri is a region that has little real change for decades.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a drive to Preah Vihear province. Upon arrival, check in your hotel stay overnight. If time permits, you will visit the ancient temple of Preah Vihear on the hill-top, it is a great time to view the panoramic from the sunset, if not you will visit on the next day.

After breakfast, visit Preah Vihear Temple, 290 km north of Siem Reap on the Cambodian side of the Khmer/Thai border. Preah Vihear dates back to the beginning of the 11th century. Upon arrival, get on another vehicle to take you to the top of mountain. It has recently been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. Explore this historic temple and take in the sweeping views from the summit over Thailand and Cambodia.
Afterward, you will enjoy a drive to Siem Reap, and make a stop to visit Koh Ker temple, the capital of the Khmer empire, during the reign of King Jayavarman IV and his son. The landmark of Koh Ker is the perfect step pyramid belonging to the vast complex of King Jayavarman's state temple Prasat Thom.
Late afternoon, you will arrive in Siem Reap for check-in. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Spend a full day to explore Angkor Complex which is a must to visit for any Cambodia holidays.
Breakfast at your hotel, then drive to visit south gate of Angkor Thom, the Famous Bayon, the Ba Phoun, the Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace. Ancient Angkorian Capital. Begin by visiting some of the earlier temples in the Angkor Thom.
Afterward, make a visit to Taprom Temple, considered to be one of Angkor’s jewels with is overgrown fig trees, giving a haunting yet exotic atmosphere. The magnificent roots of the trees have merged itself over the centuries with the temple’s huge stone blocks, emphasizing a ‘forgotten city’ feeling.
In the afternoon, continue to Angkor Wat, one of the modern wonders of the world. The temples are set among a large forest with shaded roads which are relatively quiet and suitable for walking. On arrival at the temple, stroll through the intricately carved hallways that still show hundreds of fine carvings of Apsara and Hindu mythology and discover small shrines still in use today by the local people. Be amazed by the sheer size of the temple and learn how the Khmer Empire prospered between the 11th and 13th century

After breakfast, enjoy a drive an one hour drive to the village of Kampong Khleang, one of the largest settlements on the Tonle Sap Lake. Living on water is an art the Khmer people have mastered over the course of time. Visiting the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake provides you local touch with friendly villagers, which is a memorable experience in your Cambodia holidays!
Afterward, make a visit to Beng Mealea, located 65km from Siem Reap, it is a pleasant 1.5 hour drive through the Cambodian countryside to reach the sprawling jungle temple of Beng Mealea. Today the temple is largely overrun by vegetation and the stone walls are crumbling which adds to its charm in a unique way.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a drive to Banteay Mean Chey province where will explore the isolated temple of Banteay Chhmar temple, the 4th largest temple dating from the Angkorian period after Preah Khan (in Kampong Svay), Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat being the largest temple. There are nine satellite temples as part of the temple complex. In addition, Banteay Torp, another intriguing temple well-worth seeing is about 12 kilometers south of the main temple.
Afterward, continue your journey to Battambang. Upon arrival, check – in. Overnight in Battambang.
Today after breakfast, enjoy a drive (from Siem Reap) by private car to discover the city of Battambang, a charming town where you can see the elegant French colonial-style houses along the river. Then visit the Provincial Museum and the pagoda before heading to Wat Ek Phnom Temple, dating from 6th century. You will pass through traditional paper making villages along the route where you can interact with the locals and how they make papers for their living. Afterward, you will continue to Prasat Banan Temple where your day end up with enjoying a stunning sunset (require energy for climbing on the top of temple). On the same way you may opt to visit The Vineyard before reaching Banan. Here you can have a chance to see how they grow grapes and learn about wine production in Cambodian style, and enjoy a taste of it.
Your day ends up embarking on your vehicle to enjoy the bamboo train ride, built by the villagers to facilitate the transportation of goods and people. The train itself is very basic - 4WD platform activated by a small motor. Sit on the platform we traveled 8 miles to the next station through beautiful landscape and rice fields.
Overnight in Battambang.
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a drive to Phnom Penh. On the way, you will make a stop for boat excursion on the floating village on the Tonle Sap lake.
Afterward, you will proceed your journey until you reach Phnom Penh Airport for your flight back home.

3. Land Transportation
Our price based on the group arrives at one time (on one flight). In case clients arrive at different flight times, and need different airport transfers, the extra transfer will be charged. We apply the same for the departure date.
4. Travel Insurance
Our price of the tour does not include travel insurance. We highly recommend you purchase health/travel insurance for your trip to Asia.
5. Responsibility
Except in situations beyond human control, VietnamStay will be held responsible for any additional expense resulting from the change caused by us in itinerary, transportation, and accommodation.
However, VietnamStay cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, nor for additional costs incurred due to the situations beyond human control.
The detailed program and schedule of flights are subject to changes by the airline without prior notice and in accordance with the weather conditions and daily operation of flights. Consequently, itinerary concerns might be adjusted. If this occurs, VietnamStay will endeavor to secure alternative arrangements.
6. Vaccine
It is not compulsory to get any vaccine to visit our countries. But we encourage you to have popular vaccines such as Diphtheria, Tetanus, Typhoid, Polio…. You may consult your doctor before traveling.
