Day 1: Arrival: Hanoi - Lao Cai – Sapa (no meal)

Arrive at airport and welcome by our guide then transfer Hanoi city for visiting Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature and The first university of Vietnam), Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter streets.

Free time and take night train around 0845 – 0915pm to Lao Cai.  Overnight on train.

-     Day- use-hotel before night train will be surcharged at: 17.5USD/pax or 35USD/room only for 2 pax

-          The city visit is subject to change depends on your flight time.

 

Day 2:  Lao Cai -  Sapa (B)

You will arrive at Lao Cai at around 6.00am. Picked up by our local guide and take a short car trip to Sapa town about 40km from Lao Cai. Breakfast at local restaurant before exploring the town (early check in is not guaranteed) take a short climb up to Ham Rong Hill for a bird-eye view of Sapa area, then trek down to visit the local market. 

In the afternoon, take a 2km trek to Cat Cat Village, home of H’mong Ethnics. Meet & talk with locals to learn more about their daily life. Overnight in Sapa.

 

Day 3: Sapa Hill Tribe villages – Lao Cai (B)

After breakfast we check out and leave your luggage at hotel, then taking a drive to Lao Chai - Ta Van villages, Home of Dzay and Black Mong hill tribes. While trekking around the village, meeting and talking with local hill tribes to learn more about their daily life, customs and traditional habits.

Optional visit around Sapa town or take a rest before taking car trip back to Lao Cai train station for night train back to Hanoi.

 

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) Local guide on board

Arrive in Hanoi very early in the morning (round 04:40am) you will be guided to Mini hotel, just some minutes walk from Hanoi Railway Station. Check in your room for freshen up and have breakfast before pick up for Halong trip (08:00am).

Picked up by shuttle bus and take 3.5 hour transfer to Halong Bay with one stop en route.  Upon arrival, embark on a junk /boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay.  While the junk cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches on the bay, having fresh seafood lunch on boat. Stop for a while for an excursing to explore one of the most beautiful grottos among others and swimming, if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (service available free of charge upon request and in good weather only). Overnight on board.

 

Day 5: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Brunch)- No guide to Hanoi

In the morning, doing more cruises through the Bay, passing by many other rocks, Islets as well as fishing villages. Brunch will be served on board before disembarking time.

Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon.  Free time then on.

 

Day 6: Hanoi City- Departure (B)

After breakfast at hotel, then time is for shopping.  Check out before lunch time and take a private transfer Noi Bai Airport for flight back home or next destination. End of service.
